The Brief

Content that has to feel unmistakably Assembly.

Assembly Coffee is a London specialty roaster with a fully formed identity. Spiro Creatives makes content for it, and every piece has to sit naturally beside Assembly’s own campaigns and design, without looking like it came from a supplier.

I was Assistant Camera on six of those pieces, wrote the script for one, and coordinated on location for two.

The Work

Six pieces, three kinds of story.

01

Making the most of…

Two pieces built around individual coffees. I was on camera support for both, and wrote the script for the Nestor Lasso Sidra.

02

Overripe Fermentation Series

The series launch film and a look inside the box. I coordinated on location for the launch.

03

Collaborations

Assembly with Apax Lab for the Finca Deborah Brewers Cup, and with Eren Armitage for a collection. I coordinated on location for the Brewers Cup.

What I handled

On set, and around it.

  • Assistant Camera: on all six pieces.
  • Script: Making the most of the Nestor Lasso Sidra.
  • On-location coordination: the Overripe Fermentation Series launch and the Finca Deborah Brewers Cup.

The Outcome

Published on Instagram.

All six pieces went out on Instagram. Each card above links to its post.

Testimonial

Regardless of the pressure, he consistently approaches projects with confidence, flexibility and a willingness to find a solution, and he has always delivered when we’ve needed him.

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Ragesh Changam since 2023 across a wide range of projects and in several different capacities—from supporting productions as a camera assistant, gaffer and grip, through to providing full web design and development services for Spiro Creatives and our clients.

Another quality I value enormously is his agility. A significant amount of the work I bring to him comes with very short notice and extremely tight deadlines. Regardless of the pressure, he consistently approaches projects with confidence, flexibility and a willingness to find a solution, and he has always delivered when we’ve needed him.
